Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00pm–7:30am in Florence, KY. You will manage inventory levels, schedule weekly counts, and coordinate audits with Warehouse Supervisors to align with demand and resources.

This role requires strong organizational skills, audit capability, and the ability to lead a team. You will analyze results, communicate findings, and ensure accurate records across receiving, locating, packing, and shipping

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related inventory experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of industry-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inventory needs and implement strategies to meet them.
• Publish weekly inventory counts and audit schedules.
• Coordinate audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
• Provide daily written and electronic analysis of inventory and audits.
• Support spot audit activities including receiving, packing, and shipping.
• Intervene with supervisors to address trends or corrective actions.
• Read and respond to emails promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

Essential Job Functions

• Evaluates inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs
• Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules
• Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily – so that supervisors can assign necessary product, equipment, and human resources needed to complete schedule.
• Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
• Spot audit unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
• Interacts with supervisors to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
• Read and respond to all emails in a timely fashion.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Stand or sit for long periods of time

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3 or more years of related work experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
• 3 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas
