Job summary

RJW Logistics Group seeks an Inventory Control Assistant Manager to supervise IC teams across multiple facilities on the 1st shift. You will ensure compliance with IC processes, handle email communication, de-picks, recalls, and related tasks, and assist warehouse operations as needed.

You will supervise daily IC staff activities, assess inventory needs, and implement strategies to meet those needs while managing shift staff performance and paperwork flow.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising inventory control staff or IC teams.
• Ability to plan and implement inventory strategies.
• Strong communication skills for shift handoffs and reporting.

Job description

Position will report to the Inventory Control Assistant Manager. Supervise IC teams across multiple facilities, as assigned on 1st shift to ensure all email communication, de-picks, recalls, and other IC department processes are followed and as indicated below: Assist warehouse operations as required. Communicate transitional information from night shift to day shift. Supervise the daily activities of the inventory control staff. Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. Manage any staff assigned to shift including employee performance reviews and any disciplinary actions. Responsible for the supervision of all computer entry work and all paperwork flow.
