Job summary

Safelite Group is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to perform daily inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and support audits at our fulfillment center. You will operate an RF scanner and material handling equipment, participate in special inventory projects, and help maintain accuracy in warehouse processes.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with ongoing training and opportunities to advance within Safelite’s supply chain network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Weight limit 300 pounds for order picker operation.
• Some inventory control experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with solutions mindset.
• Willingness to learn how to operate MHE equipment.
• Able to work in varying environmental conditions and long shifts with physical tasks up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily physical inventory count assignments using an RF scanner and MHE including an order picker raised up to 40 feet.
• Assist in researching and resolving inventory discrepancies in WMS software.
• Perform internal audits as necessary to verify part numbers, quantity, or process effectiveness.
• Participate in special inventory scenarios or projects including physical part moves using MHE.
• Follow up on quality alerts or notifications and handle processing, packaging, and completion of action items.
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a secure and clean work area.
• Fulfill other assigned duties.
