Job summary

Specialty Products and Insulation in La Porte, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations under minimal supervision. You will pick orders with an RF scanning gun and move product using a forklift or pallet jack.

Responsibilities include opening containers, loading/unloading materials, stacking and securing loads, and keeping the work area clean. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to obtain forklift certification; RF scanning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified.
• RF scanning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using basic hand tools and secure loads.
• Load and unload materials onto/off pallets, trays, or trucks.
• Convey materials to designated areas and maintain a clean work area.
• Participate in safety training sessions.
