Job summary

Veritiv Corporation is seeking an Operations Coordinator to verify and maintain shipment records and support inventory administration. The role involves preparing items for shipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring day-to-day accuracy in systems and physical stock.

You will handle data entry, problem-solving, and coordination with internal teams to meet procurement and delivery goals while adhering to safety and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows-based software.
• Strong numeracy, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise; verify and record incoming materials and arrange transportation.
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Follow safety instructions and wear PPE as required.
• Participate in training and development activities.
• Support audit tasks on MS documents and databases (cycle counts, bin verifications, reconcile records).
• Resolve inquiries from customers or suppliers on policies, delivery dates, costs and terms.
• Gather data and prepare moderately complex documents using MS Office and accounting systems.
• Collect and analyze information on cost drivers and market dynamics for leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory balances in the Warehouse Management System.
• Support procurement goals and follow established procurement processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
