Job summary

Empire Today in Tampa, FL is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our Distribution Center. You will manage and improve inventory accuracy, support daily cycle counts, audits, and location verification, and work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and collaboration with warehouse teams. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with forklift/scissor lift experience preferred; lifting up to 75 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete inventory management tasks (including daily/monthly cycle counts and audits).
• Inventory maintenance and daily audits of physical locations/bins.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and correct inventory accuracy issues.
• Support training of new and existing employees on inventory control processes.
• Support network warehouses with their inventory management efforts.
• Serve as local leader for all physical inventories.
• Create a strong safety culture by actively implementing safety policies and procedures.
