Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in North Wilkesboro, NC is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join the Finance team. You will receive and reconcile daily shipments, log items, and support warehouse operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with some related experience, ability to lift 30 lbs, forklift experience preferred, and proficiency with Outlook. Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Experience with inventory control, receiving, returns processing, and cycle counts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for communications and coordinating deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive and reconcile daily shipments by matching against purchase orders and delivery notifications.
• Log items, ensure they are accounted for and in acceptable condition.
• Handle and process physical assets including tagging and reporting.
• Support logistics operations through loading/unloading of trucks and trailers.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, reach forklift, pallet jack) and complete daily docs.
• Maintain efficient warehouse operations by cycle counts, daily logs, and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
