Job summary

Bunzl Safety in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control associate. The role involves performing cycle counts, maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory transactions, and supporting all Distribution Center operations.

This is an onsite M-F position from 6am to 2:45pm with pay of $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. Proactive communication and teamwork are essential to keep inventory accurate and shipments flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control and auditing procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory levels by vendor, category, and product.
• Ensure inventory levels meet predetermined standards.
• Assist in cycle count programs to ensure accuracy and research discrepancies.
• Maintain records of variances and ensure audit accuracy.
• Monitor inventory transactions and provide feedback on root causes of discrepancies.
• Maintain shipping documents and Back Orders Report.
• Coordinate with internal departments in the branch to track inventory.
• Palletize and store inventory in correct locations.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
