Job summary

Bunzl plc seeks a Warehouse Clerk to support the branch operations with daily administrative tasks in Florida. The role emphasizes accurate records, inventory control, and collaboration with warehouse and transport teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a warehouse setting, AS400/iSeries experience is a plus, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Safety and accuracy are emphasized in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• High School/GED education required.
• Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with speed and accuracy under limited supervision.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
• AS400/iSeries experience preferred, particularly inventory/receiving functions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task projects.
• Ability to respond to heavy volume of emails/phone calls from internal and external customers.
• Must be detail-oriented problem solver.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work at a height of up to 26 inches above ground (with safety/training).

Responsibilities

• Scan and file credits, inbound receiving documents, and PODs in the RVI system.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels per standards.
• Research, document, and reconcile inventory variances for accuracy.
• Process and verify inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customer service and other branches.
• Operate machinery to assist in cycle counts and resolve inventory issues.
• Support cycle count programs and address discrepancies.
• Assist with customer and vendor inventory issues and discrepancies.
• Prepare product samples and conduct inventory split-counts as needed.
• Ensure inventory is stored in designated locations and well organized.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
