Job summary

Winebow is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk in New Jersey to maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure stock accuracy. The role emphasizes quality control, returns processing, and thorough documentation.

The position requires at least two years in a warehouse setting, proficiency with warehousing terms, math skills, and experience with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years experience in a warehouse with inventory administration.
• Knowledge of general warehousing terminology and practices; strong mathematical skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory management systems preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, stock-pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: maintain and update inventory records using the warehouse management system and perform cycle counts.
• Quality: process damaged/returned goods; track losses and recoup saleable items; coordinate quarantine and processing of issues.
• Returns: check in drivers, audit route paperwork and returned goods; ensure credit paperwork processed.
• Documentation/Reporting: maintain reports for audits, counts, and adjustments; daily short-shipped orders and damaged goods records.
• Communications: coordinate with shipping, receiving, customer service, transportation, brand management, and sales to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory at outside storage locations and ensure flow to avoid stockouts.
• All other tasks as assigned.
