Job summary

Coleto Brands is seeking a General Warehouse Associate – Inventory Control to join Progress Lighting in Jefferson, GA. 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), Monday–Friday with overtime as needed. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits, reporting discrepancies, and improving processes.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in distribution/warehouse settings, experience with SAP, PIT operation, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent math and analytical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication.
• Understanding of basic inventory control procedures.
• Certification in Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operation preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• 1-2 years’ experience in distribution or warehouse setting.
• Ability to shift operational priorities and business needs.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and miscellaneous inventory audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
• Ensure products are in proper locations, conduct searches to locate missing inventory.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
• Research and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct third party vendor audits to agree quantity and part number for received material.
• Execute assignments accurately and timely in a safe manner.
• Prepare various reports relative to the cycle counting process.
• Other duties as assigned.
