Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator at our Gardnerville location. The role focuses on monitoring inventory levels, submitting stock adjustments, and supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years in an operational staff role.
• Knowledge of inventory control/procurement procedures.
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory stock counts.
• Count, research and submit stock adjustment requests (SARs).
• Enter SARs to move product from Special Order code to Stock code.
• Perform weekly damages/cull count.
• Check backorder report to identify a potential stock issue.
• Review and address the weekly overpurchased report.
• Communicate variances to Location Management to find root cause.
• Participate in picking audits.
• Verify new products added and update labels as needed.
• Locate material and tag accordingly.
• Assist with shipping and receiving.
• Inspect output samples against standards, measure dimensions, and assess functionality.
• Ensure assembly/production adheres to standards and is compliant with legal requirements.
• Review blueprints and specifications against produced goods.
• Record inspection results in reports and quality database.
• Routinely check all pulled/staged orders in lumber/hardware.
