Job summary

Professional Contractor Supply in Columbus, OH is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels and support daily warehouse operations. You will perform daily cycle counts, coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to resolve discrepancies, and help organize and optimize the warehouse.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months in construction supply or distribution, ability to lift 50 lbs, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma.
• A minimum of 6 months experience within the construction supply/distribution industry.
• Extensive knowledge of tool manufacturers and the products they supply.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of office equipment such as a photocopier, printer, and scanner.
• Must obtain an OSHA 10.
• Must be certified by the company to operate all MHE.

Responsibilities

• Daily cycle counts of inventory using RF Smart.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Stocking and Operations Management regarding shortages, overages and daily counts.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Stocking and Operations Management to schedule counts.
• Warehouse organizational projects to organize and optimize areas of the warehouse.
• Assist warehouse and shipping team members with locating items and with pulling, packing, stocking and receiving.
• Operate machinery and equipment following safety protocols and PPE requirements.
