Job summary

Oatey in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to verify outbound shipments meet order and SOP requirements, and to record, track, analyze and follow up on results.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, processing returns, handling damaged goods, locating misplaced items, and assisting with year-end counts. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred with math/science background.
• One year related work experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to work at heights with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Validate inventory through cycle counting and empty bin correction.
• Reconcile inventory in computer systems and update records.
• Make improvement recommendations for accurate counts.
• Process and adjust customer returns to inventory.
• Handle damaged goods for rework with production.
• Remove production waste from inventory.
• Locate misplaced goods needed for processing or shipment.
• Facilitate physical movement of warehouse items.
• Assist external auditors with year-end test counts.
