Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for the second shift on-site in Kentucky. The role focuses on coordinating weekly inventory counts, audits, and quality controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will work closely with Warehouse Supervisors, publish audit schedules, and produce daily analysis of results in Excel. Strong communication and organization are essential, with at least five years of related experience. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of related work experience in inventory control.
  • Excellent audit skills and strong communication.
  • Ability to work on-site and meet shift schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Provides daily written and electronic analysis of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Manages spot audit unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping documentation in Excel.
  • Interacts with supervisors to identify trends, processes, or people needing corrective action.
  • Reads and responds to emails in a timely fashion.

  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily -- so that supervisors can assign necessary product, equipment, and human resources needed to complete schedule.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audit unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Read and respond to all emails in a timely fashion.

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Must have the ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 5 or more years of related work experience.
  • 5 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
