Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory of detail and finished goods, supporting quality policy and lean processes. Responsibilities include pulling parts per BOM, stocking inventories, and updating the computerized system daily.

Strong reading of tolerances and MRP familiarity are preferred. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; those without may take a pre-employment assessment.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with the ability to use measuring tools like micrometer and calipers.
• Must be able to read and understand tolerances on manufacturing drawings.
• Some knowledge of MRP principles.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Experience using computers.
• Demonstrated decision-making ability to apply guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organized inventory.
• Pull detail and finished goods parts per Bill of Materials.
• Stock and store all details and hardware inventories.
• Receive all returned parts by completing general receiving report.
• Modify inventory in computerized system to reflect daily transactions and current levels.
• Assist other stores personnel with monthly inventory and weekly cycle counts.
• Conduct business transactions and communications professionally per policy.
• Follow safe procedures when using material handling equipment.
