Job summary

Best Way Distribution seeks an Inventory Specialist to monitor and complete inventory activities, ensuring excellent client service while supporting warehouse operations. This role emphasizes problem-solving, strong communication, and precise cycle counting to reconcile variances.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand/walk 8–10 hours, and adapt quickly to changing conditions, collaborating with the operations team and client success groups to maintain accurate inventory

Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory systems and Excel-based processes.
• Ability to work independently on-site and communicate clearly.
• Capability to identify discrepancies and resolve inventory issues.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests around inventory issues.
• Collaborate with operations to address client concerns.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform cycle counts.
• Check physical locations to reconcile variances and ensure quality.
• Identify root causes of inventory adjustments and suggest improvements.
• Raise concerns about inventory practices to improve day-to-day processes.
• Provide updates to site leadership on client-relevant information.
• Run cycle counting and inventory controls per SOPs with operations and client success teams.
• Perform audits or other tasks requested by clients.
