Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor accuracy of inventory, compile records, and support efficient distribution operations. You will count stock, compare records, and investigate discrepancies while ensuring shrink is controlled and reports are prepared.

The role requires basic math, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds and work in multi‑temperature environments. Day 1 benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or figures from records.
• Verifies computations against physical stock and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective items.
