Job summary

Performance Food Group in Glen Allen, VA seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy of inventories and support distribution. You will count materials, compare to records, and compile reports to ensure shrink is controlled.

The role requires 1+ year inventory experience, a high school diploma, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to stand and lift. Schedule is Monday–Friday with Sundays rotating; full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of warehouse inventory experience.
• Strong math skills and accurate information handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures.
• Verifies computations against physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials and supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews daily reports and maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
