Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support warehouse improvements and ensure accurate material flow across receiving, storage and production. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies with ERP records, and help implement corrective actions while maintaining traceability and compliance with internal controls.

This on-site role requires 2+ years in manufacturing inventory, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail to help keep our fast-paced, turn-key

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and basic data analysis.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues systematically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and ERP records.
• Conduct root cause analysis on inventory variances and help implement corrective actions.
• Support annual physical inventory audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, returns, and job-related material movements.
• Validate material movements in the ERP system to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
