Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking an Inventory Analyst to maintain accuracy across manufacturing operations and drive data-driven improvements. You will partner with Materials, Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure inventory supports demand while minimizing waste.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems in manufacturing, and will leverage data, reporting, and RCCA methodologies to optimize stocking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations management, industrial engineering, data analytics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of inventory analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting high-volume or contract manufacturing operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels, historical usage, demand trends, and production requirements to determine appropriate reorder points and safety stock levels.
• Monitor inventory performance metrics and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory investment while maintaining production continuity.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, and at-risk inventory and develop corrective action plans.
• Evaluate inventory turnover and recommend strategies to improve inventory utilization.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze inventory dashboards and KPI reports.
• Prepare recurring inventory reports for leadership, highlighting trends, risks, shortages, and opportunities.
• Utilize data analytics to identify process improvements and support business decisions.
• Present inventory findings and recommendations to Operations and Supply Chain leadership.
• Utilize RCCA methodologies to identify and eliminate recurring inventory issues.
• Analyze inventory-related problems and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Recommend process improvements that reduce inventory errors, improve inventory visibility, and enhance operational efficiency.
