Job summary

Afinitas—an industry leader in precast concrete equipment—seeks an Inventory Control Specialist for Mediapolis, IA. This role will drive inventory accuracy, coordinate with the parts room team, and support audit-readiness across the ERP system.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure parts availability, optimize flow, and maintain strict safety and housekeeping standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience with Inventory Control Processes including use of ERP systems, cycle count programs and audit prep readiness.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Materials Department, other company departments, and suppliers to ensure efficient, timely ordering habits.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as give direction to Team Members through effective and respectful methods of communication.
• Proficient with computers (especially Microsoft Office, Excel) and ERP systems.
• Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines and work overtime when required by the situation.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control procedures and optimize processes in the ERP system.
• Evaluate new inventory and properly create locations.
• Co-manage obsolescence program initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate parts room activities and reports.
• Prepare detailed reports for adjustments and audits.
