Job summary

ZEISS in Minnesota is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to oversee daily warehouse and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with multiple departments and handle stock tracking, SAP usage, and safety practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of warehouse experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Lean principles knowledge and strong communication are a plus. OT may be required in peak times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months Zeiss IQS warehouse/shipping experience or related experience elsewhere.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Understanding of basic lean principles desired.
• Data Entry, Touch-Screen Device, and Computer skills required.
• Able to learn quickly and follow processes consistently.
• Organized, detail oriented, self-starter and problem solver.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, power jacks, and manual pallet jacks for moving equipment and supplies.
• Track warehouse stock and maintain an organized inventory methodology.
• Utilize SAP effectively in relation to assigned duties.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and work instructions as per supervisory guidelines.
• Flexibly cover different positions within the area to assist during staff shortages.
