Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. seeks an Inventory Control associate to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth production flow through diligent warehouse practices.

You will conduct cycle counts, maintain bin accuracy, track heat and lot numbers, and enter counts into the Epicor ERP system to support timely material availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain bin accuracy and precise counts for internal and external bins.
• Track and document heat numbers for production jobs and orders.
• Input material counts into the Epicor ERP system.
• Verify materials and parts returned, including part numbers and counts.
• Receive incoming materials and update the ERP system accordingly.
• Issue and request materials from inventory as needed.
• Pull and prepare products for production and shipment.
• Track lot/heat numbers and serial numbers accurately.
• Promote a safe work environment with focus on quality, safety and organization.
• Close jobs and ensure accurate job entries for production processes.
• Process job-to-job receipts as part of workflow management.
• Monitor and communicate inventory-related issues to maintain smooth production flow.
• Authorize raw material usage and manage inventory accordingly.
• Handle transfer orders efficiently.
• Review and communicate issues related to damaged materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and task completion.
