City of Austin is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, shipping, and inventory control. You will verify items, document transactions, and support reconciliation of discrepancies. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with purchasing and vendors to resolve issues.

The candidate should have high school diploma or GED and 3 years in warehouse/inventory control, with forklift experience preferred. This is an on-site role with a standard 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years of warehouse/inventory experience.
• Experience with inventory control processes and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).

Mansioni

• Receive, ship, and verify items against orders and packing lists.
• Document goods and services using proper tracking methods and update stakeholders.
• Process purchase requests, expediting deliveries and assisting with invoice processing.
• Operate forklift or pallet lift and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Perform cycle counts and address discrepancies, shortages, and credit adjustments.
