Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I & II to support NSWG-8 Logistics using DPAS, SPEAR, and COLTS. You will schedule and monitor inventory progress and conduct inventories, posting results for audit readiness.

Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years in military logistics and property/inventory management with SOF logistics experience, plus proficiency in COLTS, DPAS, and MS Excel.

• Proficiency in COLTS DPAS MS Excel and other MS Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist NSWG-8 Logistics Officer by using DPAS, SPEAR, and COLTS; schedule and monitor inventory progress for Property Program.
• Conduct inventories and post results to DPAS; communicate issues to Property Clerks and Officers.
• Establish and maintain property accountability records with an audit-ready transaction trail.
• Issues, receives and signs for property; maintain accountability records and trails.
• Mark and track property received/issued in government-approved barcoding system.
• Assist N4 Logistics Officer by utilizing DPAS.
• Provide inventory support to SRT-1/LOGSU-8/IMD-8 Departments as required.
• Schedule and monitor DPAS inventories; inform departments of issues.
• Process property for disposal and removal from the DPAS system as required.

Secret Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Assist the NSWG-8 Logistics Officer by utilizing DPAS, Special Operations Force (SOF) Personnel Equipment Advance Requirements (SPEAR), and Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking Systems (COLTS). Schedules and Monitors inventory progress for Property Program. Conducts and posts inventories to DPAS. Inform and communicates issues to all departmental Property Clerks, Responsible Officers, and Accountable Property Officer.
• Establish and maintain the records of the property accountability systems, to include a complete trail of all transactions suitable for audit.
• Issues, Receives and signs for property and material. Administrative inventory control and accountability, and maintenance of property accountability records, to include a complete trail of all transactions suitable for audit.
