Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in New Jersey. You will audit inventory, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy throughout daily order processing, while adhering to internal controls and safety policies.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, forklift experience, and may need Oracle familiarity. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and requires compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete cycle counts and review time tables.
• Receive products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and safety policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
