Job summary

Wastequip is hiring an Inventory Clerk for our Mount Sterling, KY location. This full-time role focuses on improving on-hand inventory accuracy via tagging, organization, and control activities.

You will perform daily cycle counts and verify ERP data to minimize locations and errors, while supporting BOM accuracy and overall warehouse efficiency. We offer great benefits including health insurance, a 401K plan, paid vacation and sick time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical Degree is preferred.
• 1-3+ years of directly related experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in inventory management or related field.
• Experience with Dynamic 365 ERP or Similar ERPs tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize parts and components in all external yard and warehouse locations.
• Create and maintain a map detailing the location of all components and parts.
• Perform daily cycle counts to validate staging and rack location accuracy.
• Monitor daily transactions to ensure correct scanning of inventory movements.
• Check BOMs and engineering drawings to assist operations with BOM accuracy.
• Review production reporting and improve reporting accuracy with shop floor.
• Review quantity variances on PO receipts and verify against ERP data.
• Isolate excess and obsolete items and determine disposition (scrap) if needed.
• Maintain yard and warehouse cleanliness.
