Brookshire Grocery Company in Pineville, LA is hiring an Inventory Specialist to monitor and maintain stock levels in the Inventory Management System. You will greet customers, support accurate counts, and ensure shelves are replenished while following safety procedures.

The role requires basic math, MS Office proficiency, and strong attention to detail to maintain efficient store operations and inventory accuracy daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age; 21+ for company driving per policy.
• High school diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory and backroom processes preferred.
• Ability to learn new technology systems and procedures.
• Strong communication and numerical accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment following safety procedures.
• Provides friendly customer service by greeting customers and addressing questions or complaints.
• Assists with other duties, including periodic inventory counts and bi-annual service counts.
