Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) seeks an inventory-focused team member to monitor and maintain stock levels within the Inventory Management System. You will greet customers in line with our service standards and assist with daily inventory tasks.

The role emphasizes accurate counts, proper purchasing, and timely transactions while upholding safety and company policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 21+ years to drive for Company business per policy.
• High school Diploma or GED and 1+ years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts daily in the Inventory Management System.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
• Provides friendly customer service and answers questions.
• Assists with all other assigned duties, including periodic inventory counts.
