Job summary

Carmi Wholesale Distributors is seeking a motivated Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure products are stored, moved, and replenished efficiently in our warehouse.

The role focuses on operating powered industrial equipment including forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order selection, and ensuring availability of products where and when needed. This position suits independent workers in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to obtain forklift recertification through company training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory replenishment for picking locations.
• Move products to and from reserve storage locations.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Verify product locations, quantities, and item information.
• Assist with receiving and put-away activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems.
• Identify damaged products and report inventory issues.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods as needed.
