Carmi Wholesale Distributors is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to move, store, and replenish inventory using powered equipment, including forklifts. You will partner with warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and availability.

The role emphasizes safe equipment operation, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced distribution environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to obtain forklift recertification through company training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn WMS.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory replenishment for picking locations.
• Move products to and from reserve storage locations.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Verify product locations, quantities, and item information.
• Assist with receiving and put-away activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems.
• Identify damaged products and report inventory issues.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
