Job summary

Stoughton Trailers is seeking a Material Control/Inventory Specialist to support daily production operations by receiving, storing, moving, and delivering materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. You’ll verify shipments, inspect materials for defects, and document movements to production areas.

Responsibilities include daily picking, loading/unloading, and coordinating material availability to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (based on education and work experience).
• Forklift and crane certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and measuring.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using computers and digital systems to access information and complete documentation.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, move, and deliver materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Verify incoming material shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect materials, identify defects, and report quality concerns.
• Record all material movements and shipments to production areas.
• Follow daily picking instructions and deliver materials to production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and trucks.
• Coordinate material availability to support uninterrupted production flow.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safety, quality, and teamwork in daily operations.
