Job summary

Price Industries in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support production efficiency by maintaining accurate material flow, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring real-time visibility of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

You will work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and procurement teams, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, update the ERP (IFS or equivalent), and help drive lean practices, 5S, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; post-secondary in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials coordination.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel; strong organizational and data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits per procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies, report root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain ERP records (IFS or equivalent) ensuring data integrity for inventory transactions.
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across production lines and warehouses.
• Coordinate with receiving and shipping to validate inbound/outbound movements.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and support disposal or reallocation.
• Assist in physical inventory events (annual or quarterly counts).
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S by keeping inventory areas organized and labeled.
• Provide training to warehouse and production staff on inventory handling procedures.
• Collaborate with production planners and materials team to optimize inventory and minimize downtime.
