Job summary

Price Industries is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for our Lawrenceville, GA plant. You will monitor, audit, and reconcile inventory across storage and production areas to support manufacturing schedules and real-time visibility of materials.

You will work with production, logistics, and procurement to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement in inventory processes. Strong Excel and ERP (IFS) skills are essential, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
• 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials coordination.
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits per procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies, report root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain ERP records (IFS or equivalent) ensuring data integrity for inventory transactions.
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across production lines and warehouses.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound movements with receiving and shipping teams.
• Monitor slow-moving/obsolete inventory and support disposal actions.
• Assist in annual or quarterly physical inventory events.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S by organizing inventory areas.
• Provide training to warehouse and production staff on inventory handling.

DESCRIPTION

Price Industries is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator in our Lawrenceville, GA plant who plays a vital role in supporting production efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding our standards of excellence. You are responsible for monitoring, auditing, and reconciling inventory across all storage and production areas.

This role ensures accurate material flow to support manufacturing schedules, minimize waste, and maintain real-time visibility into raw material, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods levels. Working in close partnership with the production, logistics, and procurement teams, the coordinator helps maintain smooth operations and drives continuous improvement in inventory management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits in alignment with corporate procedures.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, report root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system (IFS or equivalent), ensuring data integrity for all inventory transactions.
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across production lines and warehouse zones.
• Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to validate inbound and outbound inventory movements.
• Monitor and report on slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory; support reallocation or disposal actions.
• Assist in preparing for physical inventory events, including annual or quarterly counts.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S principles by maintaining organized, clearly labeled, and efficient inventory areas.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse and production personnel on inventory handling procedures.
• Collaborate with production planners and materials team to optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with IFS is a strong asset) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Experience in HVAC manufacturing or a similar high-mix, high-volume production environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
