Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to oversee all inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring the sales floor is stocked and processes are accurate. You will manage stock flow, tagging, data entry, and adherence to Loss Prevention standards while supporting store sales goals.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility with shifts, and a commitment to high merchandising standards and customer service, with growth opportunities across numerous new stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture, building customer relationships.
• Process inbound/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries comply with company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for the selling floor with correct tagging.
• Place EAS tags before moving items to floor as per Loss Prevention.
• Input freight information accurately in the system.
• Execute RTVs, transfers, and markdowns efficiently.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory processes.
• Meet units per hour (UPH) productivity targets.
• Keep stock room neat and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
