Job summary

Brand Junkie, a full-service branding and merchandising partner, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate physical inventory and reliable ERP records. You will count, validate, investigate variances, and coordinate with warehouse, order processing, receiving, and production staff while balancing multiple locations and connected sales platforms.

Reporting to the Inventory Control Lead, you will perform cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliations, contributing to efficient stock

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in inventory control or related warehouse role involving reconciliation and ERP processing.
• Ability to independently research inventory discrepancies and trace receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, and allocations through ERP systems.
• Acumatica experience preferred; comparable ERP experience accepted.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, comparing data).
• Experience with physical counts, SKU verification, stock organization, and warehouse movements.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and cross‑department communication.
• Experience with inventory across multiple warehouses or connected e‑commerce platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cycle counts, physical counts, recounts, and stock validations; documents results and investigates variances.
• Reviews stock requests by comparing physical quantities, ERP balances, and allocations; communicates findings and escalates unresolved exceptions.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies, negative balances, and allocation issues through transaction history.
• Completes authorized inventory adjustments, issues, and transfers within ERP permissions with proper documentation.
• Reconciles inventory movements between warehouses and coordinates resolution of discrepancies.
• Reviews SKU, label, and location information for inconsistencies and coordinates corrections.
• Collaborates with warehouse and Order Processing teams to resolve inventory-related fulfillment issues.
• Creates and affixes labels, organizes stock, and performs putaway and replenishment with accurate records.
• Identifies damaged inventory and researches its impact on stock availability.
• Supports returns, relocations, and cleanup projects by validating items and locations.
• Tracks open inventory issues through resolution and proposes process improvements.
• Adheres to safety requirements and company inventory control procedures.
