Job summary

FET is seeking a warehouse/inventory specialist in Broussard, LA to manage receiving, storage, and movement of materials, with ERP system updates and cycle counts.

The role collaborates with Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality, Production and aims to maintain inventory accuracy, traceability and timely material flow, including audits and special projects.

Safety and housekeeping are emphasized; operators may work with forklifts and light equipment per training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with warehouse receiving and inventory control.
• Experience using ERP for receiving, movements, and transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to read purchase orders and packing slips.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming material against POs and reports shortages or discrepancies.
• Enter receiving transactions in ERP accurately and timely.
• Maintain receiving records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory quantities and locations.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Operate forklifts and maintain a safe work area.
• Assist with audits and special inventory projects.
