Job summary

Franklin Building Supply in Idaho Falls seeks an inventory coordinator to manage receiving, reconciliation, and pricing accuracy across Boise and Caldwell locations. You will handle special orders, perform variance analysis in BisTrack, and support sales with stock visibility and returns processing.

You will operate safely with forklifts and hand tools, adapt to changing yard needs, and collaborate with vendors and team members to optimize inventory and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and thoroughness, especially in pricing accuracy and returns handling.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days.
• Physical ability to lift, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and handle materials.
• Willingness to learn lumber grades and building material identification.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful demeanor with coworkers and customers.
• Arrive on time and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Be flexible, collaborative, and support team needs.
• Willingness to take on tasks beyond primary responsibility and teach others.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of inventory processes and special-order handling.
• Pricing management for Boise and Caldwell locations with updates.
• Enter counts in BisTrack, identify discrepancies and reconcile variances.
• Submit final count reports and communicate findings to management.
• Verify stock levels and product availability to support sales and yard.
