Job summary

University Health System- San Antonio is seeking a PRN inventory control professional to manage all aspects of unit-based inventory and materials flow. You will collaborate with Materials Management, Clinical and Nursing staff to reduce costs and prevent overstocking while ensuring equipment cleanliness for patient safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in supply operations; familiarity with automated inventory systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years in supply operations with inventory control background preferred.
• Familiarity with automated inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage all aspects of inventory management and control on assigned unit(s).
• Interact with Materials Management, Clinical and Nursing personnel to optimize cost savings and inventory flow.
• Prevent overstocking and maintain accurate PAR levels.
• Clean medical equipment that touches a patient.
