Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is hiring a Material Handler, Inventory in South Bend, IN. This role focuses on controlling inventory accuracy, performing data entry for receipts, shipments, and cycle counts, and assisting the supervisor to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics, distribution, or a related environment.
• Able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• May perform inventory investigations or root cause analysis as directed by supervisor.
• Document returns material from customers to the facility.
• Ensure inventory is in the appropriate area.
• Assist in daily start-up and staff meetings; cross training when possible.
• Use PC for e-mail and generating reports.
• Review inbound/outbound functions and notify management when procedures require updates.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; assist with cycle counts when required.
