Job summary

Zimmer Biomet seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to oversee field and distributor inventory. You will manage stock movements using SMS, ZSIS, DCS and FedEx programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaboration with sales and operations will optimize inventory levels and protect assets. You will generate routine and ad-hoc reports, investigate variances, and support account terminations while meeting customer service goals.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory control practices and data analysis preferred.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage field/distributor inventory using inventory systems (SMS, ZSIS, DCS, FedEx) to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor stock.
• Investigate inventory variances and disputed inventory; identify root cause and recommend solutions.
• Facilitate return/exchange of expiry dated/calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel.
• Generate regular weekly/monthly reports and ad-hoc analyses; reconcile missing/late inventory reports daily.
• Support communications and administration related to distributor inventory accounts termination.
• Assist with strategic inventory requests and fulfillment; monitor asset placement and recovery.
• Log inventory outflow of loose inventory requests; conduct cycle counts in offices and accounts.
