Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Janesville, WI is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to track inventory and stock changes in a distribution setting. You will ensure accurate part quantities and proper placement of raw goods within the inventory system.

The role involves assisting with receiving inspections, recordkeeping, discrepancy adjustments and supporting continuous improvement efforts in the warehouse. Reports to a Production/Materials Supervisor or Distribution Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Understands cycle count methodology.
• Can perform counts/adjustments in SAP.
• Has basic computer skills and can email colleagues.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.
• Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.
• Research missing inventory locations and correct system errors.
• Perform dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Use barcode scanner, computer and RF tool to update inventory records.
