Job summary

Generac is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to maintain accurate stock records, track changes in a distribution center, and ensure raw goods are in the correct locations within the inventory system. The role works inside the warehouse to monitor items, parts and products and collaborates with management to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of inventory control experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.
• Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.
• Help research where missing inventory could be located and correct system errors.
• Performs dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Use a barcode scanner, computer and/or RF tool to enter and adjust items into the inventory database.
