Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet seeks a dependable Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate stock records across receiving, storage, picking and shipping. You will perform daily cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support warehouse processes while ensuring safety and organization in a cold, busy environment.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with inventory systems or scanners, and reliable attendance, including Saturdays. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous warehouse or cycle counting experience preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inventory checks, cycle counts, and location audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
Research and resolve discrepancies by reviewing transactions, counts, and receiving/shipping data.
Keep inventory records updated in warehouse systems and ERP.
Assist inbound receiving, put-away verification, stock transfers, and adjustments.
Identify damaged, short-dated, misplaced, or mislabeled products and report issues.
Support physical counts, recounts, and reconciliation activities.
Communicate inventory issues clearly with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inventory area.
