Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate stock records, perform cycle counts, and generate inventory reports on site in Alabama. The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and collaboration with warehouse teams.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in warehousing, and familiarity with ISO standards. Candidates should have basic MS Office skills and pass a background/drug screen. No travel required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Industry-specific (e.g. food grade) experience may be required depending on site.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits; track and report damaged products.
• Verify clerical inventory records against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, and infestation audits when needed.
• Monitor pest control program if required at site; draft/revise site SOPs as needed.
