Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accuracy of inventory records, perform cycle counts, and support perpetual inventory processes. The role involves data entry, reporting, and collaboration with the warehouse team to maintain precise locations and labeling across all products.

Ideal candidates will have strong math and analytical skills, experience with WMS systems, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Strong math, reading, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts.
• Assist in perpetual inventory development and implementation.
• Coordinate scheduled cycle counts and labeling.
• Ensure correct units of measure and labeling on products.
• Train staff on inventory processes and compliance.
• Support physical inventory as required by management.
• Compile reports and analyze inventory control results.
• Learn Canopy system and generate needed reports.
