Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Associate RDC to perform monthly cycle counts across the retail distribution center, ensure transactional accuracy, and comply with SOP and audit requirements.

You will publish cycle count results, analyze reports for shrink, reconcile invoices and purchase orders, monitor in-transit inventory, and collaborate with stores and the distribution center to resolve inventory issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to generate and analyze inventory reports

Responsibilities

• Performs monthly cycle counts in the warehouse to meet financial requirements
• Publishes daily cycle count results and reports shrinkage
• Reconciles invoices and purchase orders; reviews shipping/receiving documents for accuracy
• Monitors in-transit inventory and location changes for store-to-store transfers
• Serves as liaison between stores and the distribution center; engages in quality control processes
• Coordinates merchandise donation processes for company-sponsored initiatives
• Trains associates on inventory control practices
