Job summary

Atkore International in Hobart, IN is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accurate stock levels, manage RAW/WIP and finished goods, and keep ERP records up to date. You will perform cycle counts, track transfers and receipts, and work with accounts receivable to ensure proper posting of transactions.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of warehouse inventory experience, proficiency with ERP and MS Office, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 5 years inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with computers and ERP software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for Finished Goods and RAW/WIP. Include transfers, cycle counts and Receipts in IN-Transit (INTR).
• Perform daily cycle counts as directed by the Inventory Control Manager.
• Assist in tracking, sorting, and labeling inventory as needed.
• Help perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct quantity in stock.
• Maintain documentation, enter, and keep accurate records of all paperwork receivables.
• Partner with accounts receivable to ensure transactions are accounted for.
• Maintain Quarantine and Q-Hold product in local ERP system, follow-up for put-away.
• Manufacture product and returns in local ERP system.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Compile balance and cost reports for Inventory Adjustments following DOA.
• Assist with multiple Physical Inventory Audits throughout the Fiscal Year.
• Complete customer complaint investigations, maintaining CMPO metrics.
• Complete RMA paperwork in ERP and follow up with put-away.
