Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Four Oaks, NC is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a 12-month assignment. The role supports manufacturing by maintaining accurate records of raw materials and finished goods and by performing periodic cycle counts.

Pay rate is $19.25 per hour with a schedule Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Weekend work may be required. Two weeks of on-the-job training will be provided, and background checks including drug screening are required before start.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
• Strong math skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience—minimum 6 months required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to read/write English language documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for reconciling discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to insure system integrity.
• Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or unusable materials as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
